Assistance Provided Just in Time For Christmas
Collin Fitzgerald is a highly decorated Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. He was among the first to receive the Medal of Military Valour for his heroic actions under enemy fire in Afghanistan. Over the past few years, Collin has been fighting some legal battles related to his PTSD. In the fall of this year, all charges against Collin were withdrawn by the Crown which is great news but the legal battles have left him $200,000 in debt. Out of desperation, two days before Christmas, Collin reached out to VETS Canada. Of course, we were happy to help. We were very quickly able to provide grocery cards and a gas cards to help with the immediate needs. You can read more about it here.
