VETS Canada: In Her Boots 2018

In recognition of International Women’s Day, VETS Canada will be holding their second annual VETS Canada: In Her Boots national event on 3 March 2018. This event features volunteer teams walking the streets across the country and visiting women’s shelters / drop-in centers in search of female veterans in crisis and providing donated comfort items to women/families in need. All in all, the aim of VETS Canada: In Her Boots is to create dialogue and raise awareness at the local, provincial and national level regarding homelessness amongst female Veterans and their families; a topic too often overlooked.

We are excited to share that there are currently 15 volunteer teams across the country participating in this national event:

St. John’s, NL

Halifax, NS

Annapolis Valley, NS

Fredericton, NB

Montreal, QC

Kingston, ON

Ottawa, ON

Toronto, ON

Windsor, ON

Saskatoon, SK

Moose Jaw, SK

Regina, SK

Edmonton, AB

Calgary, AB

Victoria, BC
